High palms rise beneath the eight-storey glass atrium at The Landmark London, where the Winter Garden Restaurant provides a grand setting for breakfast. This Christmas, that morning ritual comes with seasonal overnight stays: children’s treasure hunts and freshly baked bedtime cookies for families, Champagne and spa treatments for couples.

The five-star Marylebone hotel has announced three Christmas stay packages, available from 23 November 2026 to 4 January 2027. Festive Getaway starts at £880 per night for two, Elf Escape at £900, and Santa’s Sleepover at £1,100. All include breakfast in the Winter Garden and complimentary access to the newly opened spa.

The hotel opened in 1899 as the Great Central Hotel, built beside Marylebone Station during the era of grand railway travel. Its winter garden, generous rooms and central location make it an appealing base for a Christmas break with plenty of time spent indoors, as well as trips into the city.

Santa’s Sleepover: festive rooms and bedtime cookies

Santa’s Sleepover includes an overnight stay for up to two adults and two children in a Marylebone Family Studio or Marylebone Junior Suite, with festive decorations in the room. Younger guests receive a toy and storybook, colouring books and pencils, while Christmas films and popcorn provide an evening activity without leaving the suite.

The family treasure hunt takes guests around the hotel, with a certificate on completion. Each adult also receives a festive cocktail at the Great Central Pub. At bedtime, the Elf turndown service brings milk and freshly baked cookies to the door; breakfast the next morning is included for the whole family.

The newly renovated Marylebone Family Studio has two double beds and a living room, plus an Italian marble bathroom with a walk-in shower and separate deep bath. The Marylebone Junior Suite offers an open-plan layout, with its bedroom subtly set apart from a spacious living area. Interconnecting accommodation can be requested, subject to availability.

Elf Escape: more choice for a family stay

Elf Escape starts at £900 per night and offers four accommodation options: an Executive Room, Executive Family Room, Marylebone Family Studio or Marylebone Junior Suite. Breakfast covers up to two adults and two children, and the package includes a festive cocktail at the Great Central Pub.

Children receive a toy and book, colouring materials, Christmas films with popcorn and the hotel treasure hunt, including its completion certificate. Milk and cookies arrive with the Elf turndown service, and spa access is included too.

The Executive Family Room averages 52 square metres, with two double beds and an open-plan seating area furnished with a sofa, armchairs and coffee table. Its bathroom has both a walk-in shower and a separate bath. For families choosing between the two packages, Elf Escape offers a wider room selection and a lower starting rate, while Santa’s Sleepover adds festive room decorations.

Festive Getaway: Champagne and treatments for two

Festive Getaway includes an overnight stay for two in a Deluxe Room, Executive Room or Marylebone One Bedroom Suite. A bottle of Perrier-Jouët awaits on arrival, alongside a sweet treat from the pastry chefs, and guests receive a festive gift to take home.

Christmas films and popcorn are included for an evening in the room. Breakfast takes place in the Winter Garden, and each guest receives a 45-minute Festive Glow treatment, as well as complimentary spa access. At £880 per night, this is the lowest starting price of the three packages.

The treatment inclusion gives the couples’ stay a clear wellness focus. Reserving appointments in advance is recommended, particularly if the timing matters to the rest of your stay. Treatment durations include consultation and home advice, so the scheduled 45 minutes should be understood as the full appointment.

The new spa: warm water and shared treatments

The Spa at The Landmark London features a vitality pool, five treatment rooms (one designed for shared experiences), an aromatic steam room and a Finnish sauna. A fully equipped gym is accessible around the clock, while the spa opens daily from 7am to 9.30pm.

Children’s vitality-pool sessions run from 9am to 11am and 3pm to 5pm, subject to seasonal changes. Under-16s must be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 16 or over.

The wider treatment menu also offers a separately bookable parent-and-child experience, Counting Sheep. Available for children aged eight and above, it combines a gentle cleanse with face, shoulder and scalp massage, followed by hot chocolate or tea. A parent or guardian receives a treatment in the same double treatment room. The 45-minute experience is listed at £260 Monday to Thursday and £280 Friday to Sunday.

Christmas dining beneath the palms

Festive Afternoon Tea brings Christmas-inspired cakes, a glass of Champagne, freshly baked scones and finger sandwiches to the atrium. The setting includes live piano beneath the high palms, and the pastry team’s credentials include winning Bake Off: The Professionals in 2023. Afternoon-tea sittings run from 2.30pm to 4.30pm on weekdays and from 1pm to 4.30pm at weekends.

The hotel’s Christmas Day dining is booked separately from the stay packages. The Winter Garden luncheon on 25 December 2026 is an unlimited buffet with free-flowing Perrier-Jouët Blason Rosé Champagne, priced at £450 per person and served from 1pm to 3.30pm.

The Great Central Pub by Matt Fletcher offers a Christmas Day meal from noon to 3pm, priced at £165 per person with a glass of Chapel Down Brut. The pub’s broader menu centres on British favourites, providing another dining option during the festive stay period.

Christmas Day dinner returns to the Winter Garden from 7pm to 9pm, at £275 per person, including a glass of Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut Champagne. The three services give guests a choice of venue and timing; none is included in the overnight package prices.
