Four Seasons Hotel Madrid is planning champagne and fondue on its seventh-floor terrace, hot chocolate in a former banking courtyard and a New Year’s Eve celebration that continues until 4am. The hotel has announced its 2026–27 festive programme, with rooftop dining, private dinners, family celebrations and spa experiences across Christmas and the New Year.

Seven restored historic buildings form the hotel, which opened its doors in September 2020. The lobby’s green marble pillars, crowned with gold-plated capitals, and an original stained-glass window evoke its banking past, giving the Christmas gatherings a distinctive setting. At Calle de Sevilla, between Puerta del Sol and Barrio de las Letras, it’s also well placed for a festive city break.

El Patio’s seasonal programme runs from 27 November 2026 to 6 January 2027, while the hotel’s other venues have their own plans for the principal celebration days.

Dani Brasserie: fondue and rooftop views

Dani Brasserie’s Winter Terrace will take inspiration from après-ski, serving champagne, fondue and hot chocolate above Madrid. The seventh-floor setting brings city views to a winter afternoon, with a fuller programme of lunches and dinners for the festive dates.

Christmas Eve will have an occasion-specific menu and live entertainment, overlooking Madrid’s Christmas lights. Christmas Day is more family-focused: an à la carte lunch includes a visit from Father Christmas. For New Year’s Eve, Dani will serve a set menu with live music, entertainment and the traditional twelve good luck grapes at midnight. This is a separate celebration from the hotel’s gala.

New Year’s Brunch will welcome 2027 with a drink on arrival and a specially designed menu featuring some of the chef’s signature dishes. The celebrations continue with a family-friendly Three Kings’ Day Brunch, where pastry chef María José Parra’s sweet creations will include Roscón de Reyes.

El Patio: champagne, cheesecake and Three Kings’ treats

El Patio occupies the former operations courtyard of the Banco Español de Crédito. Its festive programme makes this historic lobby setting an option for an afternoon stop, a glass of champagne or a holiday meal.

The Champagne Corner and Culinary Gems experience will pair selected ingredients with champagnes including Ruinart R Brut, Ruinart Rosé, Ruinart Blanc de Blancs and Krug Grande Cuvée. The Christmas patisserie will offer display-case desserts, María José Parra’s cheesecake and traditional Roscón de Reyes, while the Festive Tapas Experience: Christmas Edition costs €65 per person.

Hot chocolate with churros or Roscón de Reyes will be available from 2pm to 7pm. The latter is the sweet bread traditionally eaten for Three Kings’ Day, flavoured with orange-blossom water and decorated with candied fruit.

El Patio will also serve special à la carte selections on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve, with live music on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, and grapes for the midnight celebration.

January 6 brings the Three Kings’ Afternoon Tea, with hot chocolate and the pastry chef’s Roscón de Reyes for families to share in the lobby. The experience will also be available to take away.

New Year’s Eve: the gala menu and midnight party

The hotel’s New Year’s Eve gala begins with an 8pm cocktail reception, followed by dinner at 9pm. The welcome selection includes a duck foie gras macaron with sherry, red prawn tartare and free-range egg yolk with black truffle and Iberian pork jowl. Live stations will serve shellfish, caviar and 100% acorn-fed Iberian ham sliced to order, accompanied by Ruinart R Brut.

Dinner progresses through confit mushrooms with consommé and fresh white truffle, then a scarlet prawn raviolón with a saffron-infused shellfish suquet. Roast sea bream comes with royal sea cucumber, Dom Pérignon beurre blanc and caviar, before a Wellington sirloin with black truffle duxelles and Pedro Ximénez Périgueux sauce. Wine pairings include Pedra de Guix 2022 and Castillo de Ygay 2012.

Rhubarb, hibiscus and rose precede a chocolate, orange and coffee dessert, followed by petit fours including a Jijona turrón bonbon with fleur de sel.

Midnight brings twelve grapes, traditionally eaten one with each clock strike for good luck, and a Krug Grande Cuvée toast. The party continues until 4am with live music, a DJ, entertainment and a premium open bar. Late-night food includes mini smash burgers with smoked Idiazábal cheese and churros with hot chocolate.

The gala is priced from €1,200 per person. A €1,400 option includes dinner and the party, with four hours of premium open bar; the children’s menu is €400.

Isa: Asian dining and a New Year’s Day DJ

Isa Restaurant & Cocktail Bar combines Asian cuisine with signature cocktails, offering an alternative to the gala or rooftop brasserie. Its festive plans include live music, shows and culinary experiences, alongside its Origen, Síntesis and Evolución tasting menus.

The Red Room will host special seasonal experiences and is also available for smaller private celebrations with personalised menus and service.

Isa will make a one-off January 1 opening from 5pm to 1am, with an à la carte menu and a DJ. For anyone who prefers to spend New Year’s Day dining later, this is the evening option to keep in mind alongside Dani’s brunch.

A poolside lunch and time at the spa

The spa spans four levels, with eight treatment rooms, including one for couples. Its 14-metre indoor pool sits beneath a full-size skylight, with glass walls admitting natural light; an eighth-floor outdoor terrace overlooks central Madrid. A sauna, steam room and relaxation room complete the facilities.

Lunch by the Pool is included in the festive offering. Four Seasons lists its regular poolside lunch and massage package at €365, covering 90 minutes of pool access, two dishes and one non-alcoholic drink from the spa menu, plus a 60-minute massage. The 150-minute experience is offered Monday to Friday between noon and 4pm; confirm holiday availability when reserving.

Rossano Ferretti HairSpa will also offer personalised treatments during the season. Four Seasons Gift Cards can be used for dining, wellness or accommodation, while the Spa Boutique offers skincare products to take home.

Private celebrations and planning your stay

Private Christmas Eve dinners will include a welcome drink, a four-course menu, a drinks package and floral decorations. For business gatherings, lunches and dinners start at €115 per person for three courses with drinks, while cocktail receptions start at €116 with canapés and a domestic drinks package. The hotel’s festive experiences provide a starting point for choosing a venue and arranging a celebration.

Four Seasons estimates a 25-minute drive from Madrid-Barajas International Airport, a distance of 15 kilometres. An airport limousine transfer with meet-and-greet service can be arranged through the hotel.
