Jewel of the Seychelles
Dramatically beautifulDestination: Seychelles, Indian Ocean
Vacation: Private island escape
Seeking: Dramatic natural beauty
Highlight: Picture-perfect beaches
High above the waves set amongst the dramatic contrasting backdrop of massive granite rocks and blindingly white stretches of soft white sand and coral-fringed beaches, Six Senses Zil Pasyon – one of the best luxury resorts in the Seychelles – looks like the kind of vacation home Tony Stark would build and escape to whenever all the Avenger-ing gets a little much. A heady mix of striking natural beauty, state-of-the-art technology and indulgent luxury.
A scenic 20-minute helicopter flight from Mahé or a 20-minute speedboat trip from Praslin Island takes you to Félicité, home to Six Senses Zil Pasyon and its 28 one-bedroom pool villas and two two-bedroom pool villas ranging from 2,150 sq.ft (200 sq.m) to 5,380 sq.ft (500 sq.m), plus three private residences. Every villa offers seclusion embraced by tropical vegetation and spacious surroundings, unsurpassed vistas of the ocean, a private infinity-edge pool and its own GEM (Guest Experience Maker) butler service.
A real jewel in the Seychelles Félicité is one of the most dramatically beautiful isles in the 115-island nation. Considered as one of the satellites of La Digue, the island is encircled by Grande Soeur, Petite Soeur, Coco and Marianne and offers the ultimate island-hopping experience.
The consistently warm tropical weather makes the Seychelles an ideal year-round destination but there are specific times best for particular interests.
Diving aficionados claim that the full adventures of diving are best from March to May and from September to November. However, Six Senses Zil Pasyon can organize PADI certified excursions with qualified dive centers from Praslin and La Digue all year round.
For visitors wishing to hike and walk nature trails, May through September offer the most temperate climate.
Sea turtles come back year after year to the mesmerising Grand Anse Beach to dig their nests and lay their eggs. Each nest is properly protected and signposted with information for guests. Tiny turtles erupt from their nest deep in the sand and begin their life or death race to the sea.
Sailing, fishing and snorkelling are recommended all year round although October to April claims to be the optimal period.
Seychellois cuisine reflects the cultures that have come to the Seychelles over the past few centuries. African, Chinese, French, English and Indian culinary staples are available plus the Seychelle’s Creole. Six Senses Seychelles restaurants offer traditional favorites along with a little interpretation of island cuisine by world-class adventurous chefs.

“Heaven on earth. We recently came back from a week at the Six Senses Zil Pasyon. Every single aspect of this resort is fantastic, absolutely perfect. From the magnificent nature, beaches, views, privacy and calm, really good atmosphere, to the incredibly beautiful villas, and fine, delicious delicate cuisine. And on top of it all, the resort is managed in the most professional manner, seemingly effortless but with outstanding results. You guys really deserve this feedback. A great thank you to the entire staff and especially to Tim the manager, Sam our Gem and to Christy, – all of whom welcomed us so warmly and in the most authentic manner. We shall definitely return and have already recommended this heaven on earth to our close friends. Thank you !!” Tripadvisor Review
Best food & drink
1. Ocean Kitchen

3. Lakanbiz rum tasting
It wouldn’t be Seychelles without a rum bar. At Lakanbiz there are home-infused rums, which use Takamaka white rum, distilled in Mahé. Find your favorite during a guided tasting, with some delicious snacks provided to keep your belly balanced.
Unwind
Every part of the Six Senses Zil Pasyon stunning resort – from the accommodation to its breathtaking surroundings – will leave you so spellbound you could happily spend your entire stay simply relaxing and taking in the view.
Six Senses Zil Pasyon has 28 one-bedroom pool villas in Seychelles (including Panorama for views and Oceanfront for relaxing ocean sounds) and two two-bedroom pool villas, which offer more seclusion among lush tropical vegetation. The three- and four-bedroom Residences are the resort’s best-kept secrets, with inspired design, ultra-sleek finishes, and vistas across the Indian Ocean.
To give you a better idea of what’s on offer we’ve selected a couple of the accommodation types to highlight.
Located closer to the ocean, you can hear the waves and feel the Indian Ocean breeze from the Oceanfront Pool Villas. During the day, open the bedroom’s large window to connect with the outside deck and plunge into your personal infinity pool. The villas also feature an outside daybed and a dining table to enjoy a private lunch or dinner. From the bathroom, you can enjoy the same panoramic view seated on a swing, or directly from the bathtub. With its own private wine cellar, minibar and ice machine this is an exceptional choice for up to three guests.
If you’re looking for more space try Ocean Sounds which sleeps up to 10. Set on one of the highest points of Félicité, this modernistic four-bedroom residence at Six Senses Seychelles holiday resort offers a virtually 360-degree panorama of the ocean and surrounding islands. There’s not a dull corner to be found in this privately-owned residence, which showcases contemporary and classic art pieces, hand-selected by the passionate art-loving owner.
From an explosion of color that is a Mahjong sofa, black and white classic images by Helmut Newton to vibrant console tables from Laurent De Commines and Piero Fornasetti plates, the principal living area on the lower level is an art gallery in itself.
Natural light is in abundance from the extensive floor-to-ceiling windows, enhancing the contemporary interior styling. A translucent plunge pool features in the upper level master bedroom, which also offers stunning island and ocean views. In fact, all four bedrooms feature ensuite bathrooms and continue the gallery feel with eclectic art pieces which add to their spirited design style. There’s a gourmet kitchen, a wine cellar and a private bar plus an expansive pool terrace with dining and sitting areas making it the perfect alfresco spot for relaxing with family and friends sharing this stunning residence.
Undoubtedly Six Senses Zil Pasyon is one of the best luxury resorts in the Seychelles.
