Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North has announced its 2026 festive programme, running from Thanksgiving through New Year’s Eve in the Sonoran Desert.
With Pinnacle Peak as its backdrop, the resort is planning family meals, children’s activities and a late-night celebration at Onyx Bar & Lounge. There are smaller ways to join in, too: the Holiday Market is free to enter, while a winter solstice gathering offers an evening away from the dining room. Festive breakfasts continue until 3 January, a few days after the New Year’s Eve party.
Thanksgiving feast and desserts to take home
Thanksgiving Day falls on Thursday 26 November, when the resort will serve a holiday feast across its indoor and open-air spaces. Live culinary stations and a dessert spread form the centre of the meal, accompanied by music and a bourbon tasting.
The Sports Room is set aside for live game viewing all day. The resort has arranged activities for children, games outside and chances to take festive photos.
The feast costs US$225 per adult and US$75 for children aged five to 12, before tax and gratuity. Children under five dine free. Reservations are available through OpenTable or by calling the resort.
Desert Orchard offers a way to bring some of the resort’s baking to a Thanksgiving meal elsewhere. The pastry team’s takeaway selection includes pumpkin pie with vanilla Chantilly and caramel apple cheesecake with a gingersnap crust. Desserts can be collected on 25 or 26 November before 2pm, giving anyone hosting at home one less thing to make on the day.
The Holiday Market and gingerbread at Proof
The Holiday Market takes place on Friday 27 November, from 11am to 3pm. It’s open to the public and free to attend, so there’s no need to book one of the resort’s meals to join in. Four Seasons described last year’s market as its first; this will be its second edition.
Local vendors and artisans will sell art, jewellery designed locally, products for spa and wellness, and home décor at the open-air stalls.
Executive Pastry Chef Kate Parish will host gingerbread-house decorating at Proof on 12, 19 and 20 December. Each class starts at 2.30pm, and children decorate a house to take home. The cost is US$95 per child under 12, with reservations through OpenTable or the resort’s phone line.
A winter solstice gathering and festive breakfasts
On 21 December at 5.30pm, the resort will hold a winter solstice gathering with meditation and sound healing. Guests will also be invited to set intentions, before ending the evening with a glass of wassail, offered as a warming complimentary drink. The event costs US$25 per person.
Talavera’s festive breakfast begins two days later, on 23 December, and runs through 3 January. Served from 7am to 11am, the buffet includes an omelet station for made-to-order dishes, along with seasonal breakfast items, pastries prepared in-house and artisan-baked goods. Adults pay US$48 and children aged 12 and under US$28, before tax and gratuity.
That long breakfast run makes it an option for guests arriving after Christmas as well as those waking up at the resort on the day itself.
Christmas Day brunch and Talavera dinner
Christmas Day brunch welcomes larger family groups to dine inside or in the open air at the resort. The dining areas offer desert views, while the meal features live music, culinary stations and desserts. Children can join activities and lawn games, while larger groups can ask about private dining or seating together.
Brunch has the same pricing as Thanksgiving: US$225 per adult and US$75 for children aged five to 12, excluding tax and gratuity. Children under five dine free.
Talavera, the resort’s modern Spanish restaurant, is also offering a four-course Christmas dinner at US$170 per person. The resort gives conflicting dates for this meal, referring to both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, so confirm the day before booking.
Desert Orchard will have Christmas desserts to take away, including a dark chocolate Yule log with white chocolate Chantilly and a peppermint hot chocolate entremet. Check collection arrangements with the resort when ordering.
New Year’s Eve at Talavera and Onyx
On 31 December, Talavera will serve a four-course prix fixe dinner from 5pm to 9pm. The restaurant is planning seasonal dishes in its desert-view setting, with dinner priced at US$195 per adult before tax and gratuity.
Onyx Bar & Lounge takes over the later hours, from 8pm until 2am, with cocktails and music in the resort’s lobby lounge. Ask about Onyx arrangements separately if the late celebration is central to your plans.
