Nammos Resort AMAALA has opened at Triple Bay, becoming the Mykonos-born hospitality brand’s first resort hotel and its debut in the Middle East.

Set beside Dumega Bay on Saudi Arabia’s north-western Red Sea coast, the new property brings Nammos’ Mediterranean dining and sociable beach-club identity into a complete luxury resort. It has 110 rooms and suites, alongside 20 branded residences overlooking the waterfront marina.

The Foster + Partners-designed resort is the sixth to open at AMAALA, Red Sea Global’s emerging wellness destination. Its facilities include a Nammos Beach Club on a private island, the brand’s first spa and a nature-focused club for children.

“Nammos Resort AMAALA strengthens the diversity of experiences available across the destination bringing the unmistakable energy and spirit of Mykonos to the Saudi Red Sea coast,” Red Sea Global group CEO John Pagano said in the opening announcement.

Cycladic design meets the Red Sea coast

Located along the shores of Triple Bay, Nammos Resort AMAALA looks across the Red Sea and Dumega Bay, placing the water at the centre of the guest experience. The architecture takes cues from the pared-back character of the Cyclades and the coastal heritage of Saudi Arabia.

Foster + Partners has designed the property to balance its contemporary resort spaces with the surrounding landscape. The accommodation focuses on private, comfortable interiors, distinct from the more public atmosphere associated with the Nammos beach clubs.

The result marks a change in scale for a brand best known for restaurants and lively coastal venues. Guests can now move between their accommodation, wellness treatments and family facilities without leaving the Nammos environment, while still having access to activities across the wider AMAALA destination.

“Today is much more than the opening of a hotel. It is the beginning of an entirely new chapter for Nammos,” Carolyn Turnbull, CEO of Nammos Hotels & Resorts, said.

Nammos Beach Club occupies a private island

Off the resort, the signature Nammos Beach Club occupies a private island and can be reached by a guest-only boardwalk or private jetty. The venue’s panoramic water views create a serene Red Sea backdrop for the brand’s familiar mix of Mediterranean-inspired food and upbeat social energy.

Moving the beach club offshore gives it a distinct identity within the resort. It also separates the privacy of the main property from the livelier mood of the island, giving guests two distinct settings.

The beach club is the clearest connection to Nammos’ origins in Mykonos, where dining, music and long afternoons beside the sea shaped the brand. At AMAALA, that concept sits within a larger stay incorporating accommodation and destination-wide experiences.

Nammos Spa brings a social approach to wellness

Nammos Spa makes its global debut at the resort through Boundless Wellbeing, a concept that brings together personal renewal and shared experiences. Beyond conventional treatment rooms, its programme features late-night sound healing, soundscape beats, spa parties and manifestation sessions.

Advanced skin-health experiences add a more treatment-led option. The mix retains the brand’s sociable character while giving guests space for quieter, individual wellness sessions.

This approach fits AMAALA’s wider positioning as a luxury destination centred on wellbeing. Nammos intends to connect spa time with music, gathering and the resort’s daily activities.

Beyond the property, guests can take part in marine adventures, sailing excursions, wellness trails, equestrian activities and destination celebrations. These experiences make the resort a base for exploring Triple Bay as well as a place to relax by the beach.

Blu Kids Club adds nature-focused family activities

Blu Kids Club is the resort’s dedicated space for younger guests, with activities based around discovery, creativity and learning from nature. Its inclusion broadens a brand historically associated with adult dining and beach-club experiences.

The children’s programme also supports AMAALA’s emphasis on multigenerational wellness. Families can combine time at the resort with coastal activities elsewhere at Triple Bay, while adults use the spa or visit the private-island beach club.

Nammos Residences overlook the marina

Nammos Residences AMAALA is a collection of 20 private homes beside the waterfront marina, managed by Nammos Hotels & Resorts. The apartments range from one to three bedrooms, complemented by a three-bedroom penthouse.

Each residence has generous interiors and broad terraces, with views extending across the sea and marina. Owners are given access to the resort’s dining, Nammos Beach Club, guest amenities and personalised services.

The homes extend the Nammos concept into full-time or seasonal coastal living. Their marina position creates a different outlook from the resort accommodation, while keeping residents close to the beach club and wider facilities.

Nammos becomes AMAALA’s sixth open resort

AMAALA welcomed its first resort guests in summer 2026 and plans to have more than 1,600 hotel rooms across nine resorts when its current development phase is complete. Nammos is the sixth property to begin welcoming guests, with another three resorts due to open in the coming months.

Plans also include additional residences carrying brands, wellness facilities, marinas, shops and restaurants. Red Sea Global is developing the destination around wellness, sport, arts, culture and marine experiences, supported by facilities intended to serve both hotel guests and residents.

Two of its main projects are the AMAALA Yacht Club, conceived as an international centre for luxury yachting, and the Corallium Marine Life Institute, which will combine scientific research with education about the Red Sea.

Red Sea Global, a company owned by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, is also behind The Red Sea destination, which began receiving guests in 2023. Its smaller Thuwal Private Retreat opened in 2024.

At Nammos Resort AMAALA, the immediate focus remains the brand’s first transition from individual restaurants and beach clubs into an overnight hospitality experience. Reservations are now available through the resort’s official website.
