Minos Palace Resort in Crete has opened its new Infinity Lagoon Suites for summer 2026, combining private freshwater pools, shared lagoon access and wide Aegean Sea views.
The new accommodation completes the latest phase of the five-star adults-only resort’s redesign, following the opening of Nao Longevity Hub in 2025. Nightly rates start from £422, with wellness and romantic packages also available.
Set on a private peninsula in eastern Crete, Minos Palace Resort has 150 rooms and suites overlooking the surrounding coastline. Private pools connect directly to the lagoon
Each Infinity Lagoon Suite measures 38 square metres and accommodates two guests. The defining feature is a private freshwater pool that flows into a larger shared lagoon, allowing guests to move from their own terrace into the communal water.
The outdoor area has sunbeds and a shaded patio, with 180-degree views across the sea and bay. From the terrace, the water appears to extend towards the Aegean, while mountains frame the horizon beyond it.
Inside, an open-plan layout places a king-size bed beside generous living space. A walk-in shower, double vanity and walk-through wardrobe provide practical separation without closing off the room. Guests can also use an integrated KNX system to adjust the lighting and temperature.
The private pool and terrace offer seclusion, while the adjoining lagoon provides a more expansive setting within the suite’s accommodation. In-room dining is available for those who want to spend most of the day beside the water.
The design follows the resort’s wider emphasis on indoor-outdoor living. Across its suite categories, private terraces and uninterrupted sea views are used to connect the rooms with the peninsula, while selected accommodation adds either a private or shared pool.
Floating breakfast is available in the private pool
Guests staying in the Infinity Lagoon Suites can order a floating breakfast served directly in their pool. Priced from £80, it features nutrient-rich dishes and superfoods intended to complement the resort’s wellness focus.
The breakfast can be enjoyed from the private section of the pool before it meets the lagoon, overlooking the terrace and Aegean. It is optional, while all suite stays include complimentary daily fitness and wellness classes.
The resort also offers conventional in-room dining. This gives guests the option of private breakfasts and relaxed meals on the terrace without booking one of the larger curated packages.
Nao Longevity Hub anchors the wellness programme
The Infinity Lagoon Suites arrive one year after the opening of Nao Longevity Hub, the resort’s dedicated wellbeing centre. Its name comes from an ancient Greek word meaning “to flow”, a theme reflected in both the new lagoon accommodation and Nao’s water-based facilities.
The resort describes the Nao Method as a programme informed by longevity science and the 14 Hallmarks of Aging. Its facilities include eight treatment rooms, an infrared sauna, cryotherapy and photobiomodulation spaces, a vibroacoustic lounger, consultation rooms, hot and cold plunges, a meditation area and a Vitality Pool.
Programmes combine treatments with movement and recovery sessions, giving the hub a broader focus than a conventional hotel spa. Visiting practitioners also work across yoga, postural alignment, nervous-system practices and energy healing.
Guests seeking a structured stay can book The Vitalists package. Its published inclusions cover a 60-minute Rebalance Massage per person, individual cryotherapy and vibroacoustic sessions, a Brain Gym group session, daily access to the Hydrotherapy Therma Circuit and group wellness classes.
Daily breakfast and a Cretan welcome offering are also included. The dedicated offer page requires a minimum stay of four nights and says bookings can be cancelled without charge until 14 days before arrival. A refundable 20 per cent deposit is due when booking, with the remaining balance collected 14 days before the stay.
The Infinity Lagoon Suites launch lists The Vitalists from £5,500 for three nights, although this differs from the four-night minimum published on the package page. Travellers should confirm the applicable duration and inclusions with the resort before booking.
Nao will also host a five-day movement and healthy-longevity programme with Christina Exarchou from 22 to 29 September 2026. It appears among the resort’s current retreats and curated offers.
The Lovers package focuses on private dining
Couples visiting for a honeymoon, proposal or quiet celebration can pair the suite with The Lovers package. Breakfast is served privately in the suite, while dinner takes the form of a five-course candlelit meal beneath the Cretan sky.
Guests can choose from several locations within the hotel gardens for the dinner, with the resort arranging the setting. The package also includes romantic decoration on arrival, a welcome cocktail, return transfers from Heraklion Airport and sparkling wine accompanied by fresh fruit.
The launch announcement prices The Lovers from £6,100 for three nights in an Infinity Lagoon Suite. However, the dedicated offer page specifies a minimum stay of five nights. It applies the same payment terms as The Vitalists, including a 20 per cent refundable deposit and free cancellation until 14 days before arrival.
Neither package can be combined with other resort promotions or benefits, according to the individual offer pages. The difference between the launch pricing and the online minimum stays makes direct confirmation important, especially for travellers arranging flights around a fixed three-night break.
Rates and travel details

The resort’s general offers page currently promotes savings of up to 25 per cent and extra benefits on stays of at least five nights. These may include complimentary transfers, greater booking flexibility and a best-rate guarantee, although eligibility depends on the selected rate and package.
Minos Palace Resort is around 50 minutes by car from Heraklion Airport and approximately one hour from Heraklion Port. Chania Airport is considerably farther away, with the resort estimating a drive of about three hours.
