Luxury travel content creators on Instagram reveal the hotels they never wanted to leave

Traveling has been a passion in my family and we have stayed in luxury hotels around the world. Some of the ones that stand out are Hotel Danieli, Venice Italy, George V in Paris, Rosewood Abu Dhabi, hotel Bristol Vienna, Four Seasons Maui, Ritz Carlton Paris, Ritz Carlton Shanghai, Peninsula Shanghai, peninsula Hong Kong, Beverly Hills Hotel, the Dorchester London, Ritz Carlton Bahrain, Rancho La Puerta are all amongst my top favorite hotels. Some I’ve lived at some of these for more than 6 months and others I frequent.

One hotel I loved and never wanted to leave was in Tulum. Our Habitas, it’s an adults only resort located in the jungle sitting on the sea. It’s also a sustainable sanctuary in Tulum. They also partner with organizations that help rid of plastic, help regenerate coral and help keep our oceans clean. When you walk in you feel immediately at peace, they have wellness programs, their dining is incredible and the service was legendary. They have outdoor rain showers and I need to go back for another stay.

I do a lot of staycations in LA and the service at the Four seasons Beverly Hills was incredible, the Beverly Hills hotel will always feel like home, The Bel Air hotel when I need a quiet escape and one hotel that people don’t talk about as much is L’Ermitage. Their service was outstanding.

If you’re looking for something in DTLA I loved the Conrad suites.

My favourite hotel in Europe has to be the Splendido in Portofino.

This encompasses so much for me, from memories of visiting family in Liguria over the years, to the incredible service.

I was fortunate to visit there last year during the summer when the Dior collaboration was in full swing, my cousin and I were lucky enough to spend another evening with drinks on the terrace and a visit to the spa overlooking the bay.

Nothing is ever too much for the staff, this iconic building sits on the hills above Portofino and the view is breathtaking as they bring you the loveliest aperitivos.

Portofino, Liguria and northern Italy will always have a place in my heart; and the Splendido is the jewel in the crown.

Another favourite mediterranean hotel has to be Can Bordoy house in Palma, Mallorca and if I was to go further afield, Six Senses Zighy bay is incredible.

Two of my favourite hotels include The Parador de Santiago de Compostela, located in A Coruña Spain, which is a hotel that takes your breath away, every single turn takes you back in time, literally. It is the oldest hotel in Spain. Constructed in 1511(started in 1501). The hotel is just a wow, they enchant guests with their unique charm, offering a taste of history and local culture. The stunning surroundings and meticulous attention to detail make it an ideal choice for those seeking an authentic and memorable experience.

And The St. Regis in Rome which exudes a sense of grandeur and refinement. Nestled in the heart of the Eternal City, it offers a perfect blend of classic luxury and contemporary comfort. The hotel’s commitment to providing exceptional service, coupled with its sumptuous rooms and culinary delights, crafts an unforgettable stay.

But the hotel I never wanted to leave is: The Four Seasons Madrid!

The Four Seasons Madrid, is the epitome of hospitality, seamlessly blending luxurious accommodations, impeccable service, exquisite cuisine, and unparalleled location. The Four Seasons Madrid stands as a symbol of sophistication, offering spectacular rooms and suites adorned with opulence, ensuring a truly indulgent experience for both leisure and business travelers. The fusion of modern elegance and timeless charm creates an atmosphere that captivates and invites a return. I rarely visit Madrid without dining or staying there.

One of the most amazing, memorable stays was when I didn’t do any research on a hotel I booked in Rome and this is how it went when I arrived.

“Hello and welcome to your Napolean Suite, which used to be Napoleon Bonaparte III’s bedroom. The best suite in the hotel. When Napoleon was a young man he would come to the residence with his mother. The furniture is new but original property features and high hand-painted ceiling, similar to the Sistine Chapel, remain original. The princess will be down to see you soon.”

PRINCESS? I mean, how many times do you check in and casually meet a princess?

Between the history and decor, my jaw was on the floor the whole time. Residenza Ruspoli Bonaparte is a bucket list hotel.
