Jade Mountain
Jade Mountain is an architectural marvel and undoubtedly one of the best boutique hotels in in St Lucia – or anywhere.
In harmony with Caribbean nature
Rising majestically above the 600 acre beach front resort of Anse Chastanet, Jade Mountain Resort on the island’s south-western Caribbean coastline is a cornucopia of organic architecture celebrating St. Lucia’s stunning scenic beauty, and one of the finest boutique hotels in St Lucia.
Architect owner Nick Troubetzkoy has expanded upon his philosophy of building in harmony with Caribbean nature in his creation of Jade Mountain St. Lucia. The bold architectural design – individual bridges leading to exceptional infinity pool sanctuaries and rugged stoned-faced columns reaching towards the sky – makes Jade Mountain St. Lucia one of the Caribbean’s most mesmerizing resort experiences.
Expect grand sweeping spaces where bedroom, living area and an extravagant private infinity pool glide into one another to form extraordinary platforms floating out into nature. With the fourth wall entirely absent, Jade Mountain’s sanctuaries are stage-like settings from which to embrace the full glory of St. Lucia’s Pitons World Heritage Site, and of course, the eternal Caribbean Sea.
Drinking cacao inspired cocktails gazing out at the Petit Piton mountain after visiting the cacao farm is a surreal and spectacular experience.
Rabot Hotel, Hotel Chocolat
A one-of-a-kind resort with incredible views of St Lucia’s iconic Petit Piton mountain.
Luxury boutique
It would be difficult to find a hotel more immersed in nature than Hotel Chocolat’s Rabot Hotel. Perched on a tropical hillside with surreally beautiful views of the majestic Petit Piton – it’s right there in front of you – lush plants, flowers and swaying palms all around you, plus a fully functioning cacao farm – this place is something, and without a doubt it’s one of the most luxurious boutique hotels in St Lucia too.
With just 25 private lodges there’s a real feel of intimacy and luxury while on property. There are two types of accommodation, Lodges, with beautiful views of the ethereal garden courtyard or the Petit Piton beyond, and 19 Luxe Lodges, which offer dramatic views across the Saint Lucian rainforest to the Petit Piton from their private verandahs. The design is a mix of St Lucian charm and contemporary style, and all rooms, as well as providing freshly ground coffee, tea and filtered water, have an in-room Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser™ and drinking chocolate. Almost everything at The Rabot Hotel and on The Rabot Estate ties back to the farming and production of the highest quality chocolate, with ethical and sustainable practices at the heart of every step – and it’s a real privilege to see it in action. We highly recommend exploring Project Chocolat and taking the full tree to bar experience.
