LÈGACY Hanoi – A Fusion Original officially opened on 16 September 2026, introducing a new wellness-led hotel near Hanoi’s West Lake.
At 349 Doi Can Street in Ngoc Ha ward, the five-star property comprises 85 hotel rooms alongside 133 serviced-apartment units. Its elevated accommodation, spa facilities and rooftop venues look towards West Lake and the wider Hanoi skyline.
The opening expands Fusion Hotel Group’s presence in the Vietnamese capital, where it already operates Fusion Suites Hanoi near the One Pillar Pagoda. LÈGACY Hanoi is larger and designed to serve both short visits and extended stays, with accommodation ranging from 37 sq m studios to 105 sq m two-bedroom apartments.
Fusion CEO Christopher Hur said at the opening ceremony that the group wanted the property to reflect its setting rather than transplant a standard luxury-hotel concept into the city.
“Hanoi has an extraordinary sense of history, culture and identity. Our ambition with LÈGACY was to create a destination that feels truly connected to Hanoi, one that respects the character and heritage of the city while offering a fresh and contemporary hospitality experience,” Hur said in the hotel’s opening announcement.

Hanoi heritage shapes the hotel’s design
Set within LÈGACY Ba Dinh Tower, the hotel takes design cues from Hanoi’s surviving O Quan Chuong Gate and the movement of the Red River. The five-petal peach blossom informs further details, while cranes and lotus imagery appear throughout the property.
The main lobby is centred on a large suspended interpretation of the chim hac, or crane, above the reception desk. The bird is associated with longevity in Vietnamese folklore, linking the contemporary installation to traditional symbolism.
Elsewhere, curated artwork references Vietnamese mountain landscapes and natural forms. The hotel describes the property as a living gallery, with locally inspired pieces incorporated throughout its public areas and accommodation.
Guests are introduced to the hotel through Sparkling Moments, a complimentary welcome service in the lobby. The experience gives guests a relaxed pause on arrival before they head to their rooms.
General Manager Ngo Anh Doan described the hotel’s approach as a contemporary continuation of local culture. “Creativity doesn’t erase tradition. It breathes new life into it, making heritage resonate with today,” he said.
Rooms and apartments overlook Hanoi
LÈGACY Hanoi’s 218 keys are divided between hotel accommodation on floors 14 to 18 and serviced apartments across floors 9 to 13 and 19 to 21. Eight categories provide options for overnight guests as well as residents requiring more space.
There are 20 Original Rooms, 45 Deluxe Suites, five Premium Deluxe Suites and 15 Executive Suites in the hotel collection. Private balconies and floor-to-ceiling windows feature in every room, bringing natural light into the interiors while opening up views across the city or towards the lake.
A vintage-style record player and a curated vinyl selection introduce a playful detail to each room. The feature fits Fusion Originals’ focus on individual design touches while offering an alternative to the digital entertainment expected in a modern city hotel.
The 133 serviced apartments range from studios to one-bedroom and two-bedroom layouts. Deep timber gives the interiors a warm, residential feel, while indigo-blue and terracotta accents reference Vietnamese decorative traditions. The larger formats extend to 105 sq m and are suited to families or guests planning a longer stay in Hanoi.
The split between rooms and apartments gives the hotel flexibility. Travellers can book a conventional luxury stay with hotel services, while longer-term residents gain more generous living arrangements without losing access to the restaurants, spa and social spaces.
YÊN Spa combines Vietnamese treatments with onsen bathing
Located within LÈGACY Hanoi, YÊN Spa is the property’s main wellness space and draws its name from a Vietnamese word associated with peace and calm. Its programme combines Vietnamese-inspired bodywork with contemporary beauty rituals.
The spa’s central facility is an onsen-style bathing area with separate hot and cold plunge pools. Dry and steam saunas sit alongside private relaxation lounges, allowing guests to move through heat, cooling and rest at their own pace.
Treatments include deep massage and specialist beauty services informed by Vietnamese healing practices. Modern fitness facilities and relaxation programmes broaden the offer beyond the treatment rooms, making wellness part of the overall stay.
This emphasis follows Fusion’s established wellness-led approach, adapted here for an urban setting. The location offers access to central Hanoi while the bathing areas and lounges provide a quieter retreat from the streets outside.
MỘC LOFT brings Northern Vietnamese cuisine to the 24th floor
On the 24th floor, MỘC LOFT is LÈGACY Hanoi’s 100-seat all-day restaurant, serving contemporary interpretations of Northern Vietnamese cooking against panoramic city views.
The restaurant combines its main dining room with a bar and private VIP space. Its elevated position makes the skyline part of the experience throughout the day, whether guests arrive for breakfast or a longer evening meal.
The menu’s regional focus connects the dining offer to the wider heritage concept. Familiar Northern Vietnamese flavours and techniques are reworked for a modern hotel setting, reflecting the balance between local references and contemporary presentation seen in the interiors.
One floor above, 24 Social and Terrace is the hotel’s open-air rooftop venue. Craft cocktails are accompanied by music, with outdoor seating positioned for sunset drinks and evening gatherings over Hanoi.
The two venues give the upper floors distinct uses. MỘC LOFT offers structured all-day dining in an elevated interior, while 24 Social and Terrace has a livelier, open-air atmosphere after dark.
Opening rates start at US$210 per night
Rooms at LÈGACY Hanoi start from US$210 per night. The hotel has also introduced an opening offer for stays through 31 December 2026, including 30 per cent off the room rate.
Potential benefits reportedly include room upgrades and the option of flexible check-in or check-out, subject to the booking conditions. Guests can also receive 20 per cent off services at YÊN Spa and dining at MỘC LOFT during the promotional period.
The hotel is around a five-minute walk from West Lake, placing guests close to one of Hanoi’s best-known waterfront districts. Its Ba Dinh location also provides a base for exploring historic and civic landmarks elsewhere in the area.
Direct reservations and current offer conditions are available through the official LÈGACY Hanoi website.
Fusion continues its expansion across Asia
LÈGACY Hanoi joins Fusion Hotel Group, which operates 26 properties across eight brands in Vietnam, Thailand and Indonesia. The group announced the Hanoi project in December 2025 alongside Grand Royal Riverside Hue – Fusion Collection, initially describing LÈGACY as a 220-room urban retreat.
The completed property opened with 218 keys, retaining the planned combination of short-stay rooms and serviced residences. Fusion had 18 operating properties across Vietnam and Thailand when the development was first announced.
The hotel enters a Hanoi luxury market that has welcomed several new projects, including Fairmont’s debut in the Old Quarter in February 2026. Established waterfront properties such as InterContinental Hanoi Westlake remain nearby, while Hyatt has a 406-key Wink Hanoi Westlake project planned.
LÈGACY Hanoi distinguishes its offer through the combination of residential accommodation and dedicated wellness facilities. For guests choosing between a short city break and an extended stay, both formats provide access to the same spa, elevated dining and rooftop setting.
The hotel is now open at LÈGACY Ba Dinh Tower, 349 Doi Can Street, Ngoc Ha Ward, Hanoi. Reservations can also be made by calling (+84) 24 3816 5555 or emailing res.fohn@fusionhotelgroup.com.
