Christmas in the Caribbean in 2026 brings a choice of intimate coastal retreats, expansive family resorts and festive programmes rooted in island food and culture. This year’s strongest options include Six Senses La Sagesse’s Grenadian spice garden concept, Aurora Anguilla’s concerts and fireworks, and Half Moon’s first festive season following its phased restoration.
The five standout Caribbean hotels for Christmas 2026 are:
- Six Senses La Sagesse, Grenada, best for food, wellness and nature
- Half Moon, Jamaica, best for multigenerational villas and resort activities
- Silversands Beach House, Grenada, best for a quiet Christmas by the sea
- Carlisle Bay, Antigua, best for relaxed family celebrations
- Aurora Anguilla Resort & Golf Club, best for entertainment and New Year festivities
Some resorts have released detailed daily programmes, while others are promoting a broader festive escape ahead of publishing individual events. Travellers who need particular meals, children’s sessions or spa treatments should confirm availability directly before booking.

1. Six Senses La Sagesse, Grenada
Set across 38 acres between a protected cove and the Atlantic on Grenada’s southeastern coast, Six Senses La Sagesse has created one of the most place-specific Caribbean Christmas programmes for 2026.
Its festive season is organised around The Festive Spice Garden, a programme connecting Christmas with Grenadian ingredients, botanicals, craft and music. The resort draws on Grenada’s nutmeg, cocoa, gardens and open-air setting to shape the programme.
The dining calendar includes the market-style Harvest & Dine buffet, the family-style Garden Trattoria and the Asian-inspired Far East Gardens. Rum, Reggae & Ribs moves dinner to the beach, while the Spice Route Journey explores Grenadian flavours and the movement of spices between cultures. An Open Fire Experience focuses on live-fire cooking.
Wellness remains central throughout the festivities. Guests can join sunrise yoga, Mat Pilates, meditation, breathwork and sound healing, alongside seasonal treatments such as the Christmas Connection Massage Ritual and Festive Bio-Hack Reset. At the Alchemy Bar, workshops cover nutmeg body scrub and peppermint-cocoa lip balm, while the Earth Lab offers candle making, soap making, cards made by hand and beeswax wraps designed for reuse.
Children have crafts, scavenger hunts, games and film afternoons through the Kids Club. The season culminates with a New Year’s Eve celebration on 31 December, although individual activities may change and some require advance reservations.
Six Senses has 56 suites with private pools and 15 villas that reach four bedrooms, suiting couples as well as larger families. It suits travellers who want Christmas dining, wellness and Grenadian character in one programme.
2. Half Moon, Jamaica
Occupying 400 acres and two miles of coastline in Montego Bay, Half Moon enters Christmas 2026 following a major restoration and phased reopening that began on 2 April. The resort had been closed following Hurricane Melissa in October 2025.
The first phase returned Eclipse, Fern Tree spa, the golf course and the equestrian centre to operation. Eclipse reopened with 57 beachfront rooms, an infinity-edge pool and a private swimming cove. Redesigned six- and seven-bedroom villas feature private pools, generous spaces that flow between indoors and outdoors, and dedicated staff, making them well suited to extended families celebrating together.
Half Moon has not yet published a date-by-date Christmas 2026 calendar, so its festive appeal rests on the restored resort experience rather than confirmed seasonal events. Guests should check directly for Christmas meals, children’s activities and New Year plans before reserving.
There is still ample scope to shape an active holiday. The estate includes an 18-hole Robert Trent Jones Sr.-designed golf course, tennis courts, watersports and an equestrian centre. Fern Tree, A Salamander Spa extends across 68,000 square feet, with treatment rooms, meditation areas and an outdoor labyrinth.
Dining ranges from Jamaican jerk beside the beach at Spice and Hammock Bar to seafood with Italian influence at Delmare. Sugar Mill occupies a historic plantation site and uses Jamaican herbs, coffee, rum and spices in its cooking.
Half Moon is the practical choice for multigenerational groups seeking space, staffed villas and enough facilities for different generations to follow separate routines. Christmas 2026 also gives returning guests an opportunity to experience the estate after its restoration.
3. Silversands Beach House, Grenada
Above secluded Portici Beach, Silversands Beach House is a 28-room Grenadian hotel designed for travellers who prefer a discreet festive stay to a large resort programme. Its Christmas 2026 campaign, Spice Isle Noël, presents quiet days beside the water as the centre of the experience.
The hotel combines a cliffside setting with direct access to a sheltered beach. Rooms and suites offer terraces of their own, windows running from floor to ceiling and sea views, while a 42-foot infinity pool looks across the coastline. The small room count keeps the mood intimate during one of the Caribbean’s busiest travel periods.
Azzurro serves Mediterranean-influenced dishes, including house-made pasta and seafood sourced locally. Sorrel cocktails bring a familiar Grenadian Christmas flavour, traditionally prepared from hibiscus with warming island spices. Personal yoga, healing treatments and baths centred on cold plunges offer a quieter counterpoint to festive dining.
Silversands has not released a full public schedule for Spice Isle Noël, with no confirmed Christmas Day menu or New Year’s Eve itinerary currently listed. It should also be distinguished from Silversands Grand Anse, a separate and larger property whose previous festive events cannot be attributed to Beach House.
For couples seeking sea views, unhurried meals and privacy, Silversands Beach House offers the quietest Christmas option on this list. Guests wanting organised family activities or nightly entertainment will find a better match at Carlisle Bay or Aurora Anguilla.
4. Carlisle Bay, Antigua
Set beside one of Antigua’s broadest bays, Carlisle Bay will run its Christmas and New Year programme from 23 December 2026 until 3 January 2027. The five-star resort is pairing familiar festive traditions with local celebrations and long, open days by the Caribbean Sea.
A dedicated children’s Christmas programme gives younger guests their own schedule while leaving parents time for the beach, CARA Spa or yoga pavilion. Carlisle Bay has confirmed New Year celebrations and a countdown to 2027, although its complete activity calendar and individual festive menus have not yet been published.
The wider resort experience centres on spacious accommodation, locally sourced food and an uncrowded bay setting. Restaurants include Indigo On The Beach, East, Ottimo and The Jetty Grill, providing enough variety for a stay spanning Christmas and New Year.
Carlisle Bay works best for families who want organised children’s activities without choosing a high-energy party resort. Its published 12-day festive period also makes planning easier for travellers intending to remain in Antigua through New Year’s Day.
5. Aurora Anguilla Resort & Golf Club, Anguilla
Aurora Anguilla Resort & Golf Club offers the busiest Christmas calendar in this selection, with its festive season running from 21 December 2026 to 3 January 2027. Concerts, sporting events and family activities lead into a New Year’s Eve celebration with fireworks.
Christmas Eve brings a barbecue on the beach, followed by Christmas favourites and dedicated New Year’s Eve dinners later in the programme. Families can expect Aurora Explorers Club sessions, glow-in-the-dark mini golf, beachfront s’mores and a New Year family fun run. Live performances are planned for the Aurora Amphitheatre.
Guests staying from 21 to 31 December will also receive a different turndown surprise each night. The resort says these may include keepsakes made by hand, treats from artisans and festive mementoes.
Golf, spa time and beach activities fill the daylight hours, while the concerts and evening events create a more celebratory mood after sunset. Aurora is the best fit for families and groups seeking a full programme, especially those who want their Caribbean Christmas to continue through a large New Year’s Eve event.
