JA Mar Hall has introduced four autumn packages shaped around coorie, the Scottish idea of slowing down, getting cosy and embracing seasonal comforts.
Available for autumn 2026, Coorie Season brings together overnight stays, fireside drinks, restorative spa time and leisurely meals. Packages start from £150 per person, with options ranging from a one-night retreat to a three-night stay.
The programme was announced on 15 September as Scotland moves into autumn. Each escape approaches the season differently, whether that means Baileys hot chocolate beside the fire, two 55-minute treatments or a relaxed Monday checkout.

Autumn at JA Mar Hall
Set across 240 acres overlooking the River Clyde, JA Mar Hall is a Scottish country estate within the JA Resorts & Hotels portfolio. Its spacious grounds and leisure facilities provide a secluded setting for an autumn break without requiring a packed itinerary.
Coorie Season has been designed around a slower rhythm. Guests can spend the day exploring the estate or playing golf before returning for dinner, spa time and drinks by the fire.
The four packages cover different lengths and styles of stay. The Cosy Escape places the focus firmly on fireside comfort, while the Spa Escape with Breakfast centres on treatments and thermal facilities. The Long Sunday extends the weekend into Monday, and Stay Three Nights, Pay for Two offers more time at the estate.
The Cosy Escape
The Cosy Escape centres on the coorie theme, pairing an overnight stay with a warm drink and time beside the fire.
Guests receive accommodation and breakfast, followed by Baileys hot chocolate and cookies served by the fire in The Gallery. The package also includes access to the swimming pool, plus use of the sauna and steam room.
A 10% saving applies across dining, spa treatments and golf. Guests can use it to plan the rest of their stay. An afternoon on the course could be followed by dinner at the estate, while those seeking a gentler schedule can spend longer around the leisure facilities.
Prices for The Cosy Escape start from £150 per person. It is the most affordable of the packages with a published starting price and suits travellers looking for a short Scottish staycation with several seasonal touches already included.
The Spa Escape with Breakfast
For a treatment-led stay, the Spa Escape with Breakfast combines overnight accommodation with two 55-minute ishga face and body treatments.
The package includes a Full Scottish Breakfast and access to the swimming pool and thermal suite. With two treatments included, it is structured for two adults sharing rather than placing spa appointments among several optional extras.
Guests can also add a three-course dinner in The Dining Room, although dinner is not included in the published base package. Dinner remains optional, allowing guests to plan their evenings separately.
Prices start from £455 per room, based on two adults sharing. Of the four Coorie Season escapes, this package is best suited to guests who want their autumn break to centre on treatments and time in the thermal facilities.
The Long Sunday
The Long Sunday is designed to soften the usual rush at the end of a weekend, building the stay around a leisurely Sunday lunch and later departure on Monday.
The package begins with lunch at The Clubhouse and includes a bottle of wine, followed by an overnight stay at JA Mar Hall. Breakfast is served the next morning, and guests can remain in their room until the relaxed checkout time of 12pm.
That extra time on Monday allows for a slower breakfast rather than an early departure. It also makes the offer practical for travellers who can extend a weekend by one morning without committing to a longer midweek break.
The Long Sunday starts from £165 per person. With lunch, wine, accommodation and breakfast covered, it offers a straightforward one-night itinerary for guests who prefer to know the main elements of their stay before arriving.
Stay Three Nights, Pay for Two
The longest of the seasonal packages gives guests a complimentary third night when booking a three-night autumn stay. Daily breakfast is included, alongside a 20% saving on dining throughout the visit.
Three nights provide more time to use the estate’s leisure facilities, book spa treatments separately and explore the 240-acre setting at a relaxed pace. The dining reduction also becomes more useful over a longer stay, especially for guests planning to spend their evenings at the property.
JA Mar Hall has not supplied a starting price for Stay Three Nights, Pay for Two. The final cost will depend on room choice, booking dates and availability, but the complimentary third night makes this the package aimed most directly at guests planning an extended Scottish escape.
Which JA Mar Hall autumn package should you book?
The right Coorie Season offer depends on whether the priority is value, spa time or a longer stay. The Cosy Escape provides the lowest published entry price and includes the programme’s signature fireside hot chocolate and cookies.
The Spa Escape with Breakfast has the highest published starting rate, reflecting its two 55-minute ishga treatments and access to the thermal suite. Guests planning to dine at the hotel should remember that the three-course dinner is an optional addition.
The Long Sunday offers a compact way to stretch the weekend, with lunch on arrival and a noon checkout the following day. Stay Three Nights, Pay for Two provides the most time at JA Mar Hall and the largest dining reduction, although no starting rate was included in the announcement.
All published prices are starting rates and remain subject to booking dates and availability. The Cosy Escape starts from £150 per person, the Long Sunday from £165 per person and the Spa Escape with Breakfast from £455 per room for two adults sharing.
