Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino has opened The Westerly, a 161-room oceanfront tower offering a more private stay within its established Palm Beach resort.
Officially opened on 28 May 2026, the new addition has its own check-in and dedicated concierge service, alongside select adults-only swim-up accommodation. Guests can also use Hilton Aruba’s restaurants, pools, beach facilities, spa and casino.
Terrace on 10 is an adults-only rooftop venue with panoramic Caribbean views, dining, cocktails and wellness programming. Guests can add access to a Westerly reservation for an extra fee instead of having it included with every room.
A boutique-style hotel within Hilton Aruba
Set on Aruba’s popular Palm Beach, The Westerly occupies a new tower within the 15-acre Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino. Its name refers to the trade winds that travel across the island from east to west.
The tower offers a quieter arrival and more personalised service while retaining access to the facilities of a full-scale Caribbean resort. Westerly bookings include private check-in, a dedicated concierge and an Aruba Cooler welcome drink, with priority access to selected eforea spa treatments and premium pool or beach lounging experiences.
Hilton describes the tower as a boutique-style retreat, although it remains fully integrated into the larger property. The resort had 358 rooms and suites before The Westerly opened, and the new tower adds 161 rooms.
Interiors by Jeffrey Beers International in collaboration with 10 Design reinterpret mid-century style through natural materials and warm textures. Locally influenced details connect the contemporary rooms to Aruba, while large windows and outdoor spaces highlight the oceanfront setting.
Swim-up rooms, spacious balconies and sleep amenities
The Westerly’s 161 oversized rooms and suites include oceanfront categories with expansive terraces, alongside accommodation overlooking the sea, pools or wider resort. Most rooms have a private balcony, while selected ground-floor options open onto patios.
The adults-only swim-up rooms and suites are among the tower’s most distinctive choices. Hilton’s accommodation listings describe swim-up suites with semi-private plunge-pool access, allowing guests to move directly between their room and the water. Standard room configurations include 460-square-foot options with either one king bed or two queen beds.
Larger suites add living and dining areas, Caribbean views, a freestanding bath and rainfall shower. Spa-inspired bathrooms are stocked with Aruba Aloe products, while premium linens, plush robes and slippers add to the rooms’ residential feel.
In-room wellness features include a Best Rest Bar with sleep masks, earplugs and calming pillow spray, along with personal yoga kits containing mats, blocks, bands and guided meditation rituals. Large balconies provide enough room for stretching or a quiet coffee outside.
Guests can arrange selected local snacks and drinks before arrival through a Personalised Pantry. Espresso or Lavazza coffee machines and customisable minibars are also available, depending on the room category.
Terrace on 10 brings an adults-only retreat to the roof
Located on the tower’s 10th floor, Terrace on 10 is an indoor-outdoor rooftop venue reserved for adults staying at The Westerly. Its cabanas and relaxation areas look across Palm Beach and the Caribbean Sea, offering a quieter alternative to the activity around the resort’s pools.
The space operates from morning into the evening, with a breakfast buffet, locally inspired food and a full-service cocktail bar. Sunset receptions feature speciality drinks and gourmet hors d’oeuvres, followed by live entertainment.
Wellness sessions make use of the open-air setting. The scheduled programme can include mat Pilates, physio-band stretching, guided breathwork and mindfulness exercises.
Terrace on 10 is optional rather than a standard Westerly benefit. It can be added for the duration of a room reservation, so travellers interested in rooftop breakfast, cabanas and sunset drinks should account for the extra charge when comparing categories. Dining, spa time and Palm Beach access
Beyond the tower, Westerly guests have access to Hilton Aruba’s eight dining options. Sunset Grille is the resort’s signature steakhouse, while the oceanfront Shore Club serves casual dishes and drinks beside the water. Sunset Bar is associated with the original Aruba Ariba cocktail.
The wider resort includes large pools, beachfront lounging and the eforea spa, plus a 24-hour fitness centre. Guests can reserve beach palapas or arrange activities including kayaking, bike hire and wellness classes. A Las Vegas-style casino with a live poker room offers evening entertainment.
The Palm Beach position also places restaurants and shops within walking distance. The Butterfly Farm and Bubali Bird Sanctuary are also nearby.
Rates and booking details
In a review published on 19 July 2026, The Points Guy reported Westerly cash rates starting at $612 per night, with a further $79 nightly resort fee. Available Hilton Honors redemptions at the time started at 262,000 points per night for Premium Room Rewards.
Rates vary by date and room type, while swim-up accommodation and oceanfront suites command their own pricing. Terrace on 10 access must also be selected separately, making the standard Westerly experience best suited to guests who want the private arrival and new rooms, while the rooftop add-on is aimed at adults planning to use its breakfast, wellness sessions and sunset service.
