Victoria Harbour is the backdrop to Christmas dining at Caprice and Lung King Heen and a New Year’s Eve countdown on the open-air Pool Terrace. Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong has announced Four the Season, its 2026 festive programme, with restaurant celebrations alongside children’s storytelling workshops and seasonal spa treatments.

Dining reservations, countdown packages and the publicly bookable workshops are open to non-residents. For a longer escape, the hotel’s Christmas accommodation offer includes breakfast and discounts on spa treatments and guided outings into Hong Kong.

Christmas stories and a pastry-chef encounter

Hong Kong authors and artists Bonnie Pang and Shana Cheung will lead the new Storytelling and Illustration Workshop for Children, created with the Hong Kong International Literary Festival (HKILF). Running from 21 to 23 December in Victoria 1 on the hotel’s second floor, the one-hour sessions welcome children aged four to 12 for storytelling, illustration and hands-on crafts.

Executive Pastry Chef Ringo Chan will then introduce a festive pastry creation, explaining its inspiration and ingredients before children take treats home. The workshop offers a chance to meet the people behind both the stories and the sweets.

HKILF reports that its 2026 schools programme reached 16,717 pupils from 67 schools, with events in English, Cantonese and Putonghua. The hotel collaboration extends that interest in reading into the Christmas holidays.

Workshops are complimentary for in-house guests and cost HKD 380 per child for visitors, with public bookings opening through the hotel’s eShop in November. A golden, pinecone-shaped Christmas ornament doubles as a bookmark and costs HKD 268; proceeds after production costs will be donated to HKILF.

Santa will also appear beneath the lobby Christmas tree on 24 and 25 December, from 3pm to 5pm, with visits to selected restaurants. Hotel guests and dining patrons receive priority for photographs.

A festive stay above the harbour

Four Seasons occupies a 45-storey building within the IFC complex, with direct connections to ifc mall and Central Station. Rooms face either Victoria Peak or the harbour, so choose a harbour-facing category if the water view is central to the stay.

The Christmas Holiday Escape starts at HKD 6,800 per room per night for stays from 13 December 2026 to 3 January 2027, with a two-night minimum. It covers selected rooms and suites and includes daily breakfast for two adults. Children aged five and under receive complimentary breakfast at The Lounge or Gallery, with a special rate for those aged six to 12.

The package also includes 15% off spa treatments lasting at least 90 minutes, Monday to Friday, and 10% off three guided experiences: Capturing Your Festive Moment, The Greatest Hits of Hong Kong Street Food, and Big Buddha and Tai O Discovery.

For families considering a suite, the hotel’s Family Suite combines a parents’ retreat with a children’s room and panoramic harbour views. An in-room children’s tent can be arranged on request.

Christmas lunch, Cantonese dinners and afternoon tea

Three-Michelin-starred Caprice will serve six-course lunches on 24 and 25 December at HKD 1,888 per person. Its six-course dinner with cheese costs HKD 5,088 on both dates and on New Year’s Eve. The restaurant welcomes children aged eight and above and requires smart-casual dress, worth factoring into a family celebration.

Two-Michelin-starred Lung King Heen offers eight-course Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinners at HKD 2,680 per adult and HKD 1,280 for children aged seven to 12. On 31 December, dinner includes live music and costs HKD 3,380 per adult and HKD 1,680 per child.

Lung King Heen’s usual family policy welcomes children from seven on weekdays and all ages on weekends and public holidays, with exceptions on specific dates. Its private dining room welcomes all ages; confirm festive access when reserving.

Gallery’s lunch buffet on 24 and 25 December includes a welcome glass of Champagne and a seafood station for HKD 1,288 per person. A mulled-wine station runs throughout December, alongside festive afternoon tea at HKD 548 for one or HKD 908 for two.

The Lounge adds a dessert buffet to its Christmas dinners: five courses on Christmas Eve at HKD 1,908, and four on Christmas Day at HKD 1,588.

Champagne and the midnight countdown

ARGO’s New Year’s Eve celebration runs from 10pm to 2am, with two packages that guarantee a table for two. Dom Pérignon Vintage 2017 comes with a signature Hong Kong egg waffle for HKD 4,800, or with fried chicken and 30g of Kaviari ‘Kristal’ caviar for HKD 5,800. After midnight and the fireworks, entry costs HKD 300, including a glass of Henriot Brut Souverain Champagne.

Pool Terrace opens for dining at 7pm, with food served until 11.30pm and a DJ from 9pm ahead of the midnight fireworks over Victoria Harbour. Tables for two to four guests carry a HKD 6,000 minimum spend; a table for six requires HKD 8,800. The open-air harbour setting makes this the option for those who want to spend the countdown outside.

A slower afternoon at the spa

The hotel keeps its sixth-floor infinity pool heated year-round, with a lap pool, hot whirlpool and cold plunge also available. That gives a winter city stay room for time by the water between restaurant bookings.

The seasonal Celebratory Sensory Ritual lasts 120 minutes and costs HKD 3,600. Inspired by the fig as a symbol of peace and prosperity, it begins with an arnica and Epsom salt foot bath, followed by a warm oil massage with sugar and shea butter, a body treatment and a warm oil crown massage.

The Festive Zen Escape gift box, at HKD 4,000, combines a 120-minute massage with lunch at Pool Terrace and a Triple Rose Body Cream.

Something to take home

Takeaway centrepieces are available from 6 to 31 December, with eShop orders opening on 1 December and requiring 72 hours’ notice. A slow-roasted Butterball turkey costs HKD 3,980 and serves six to eight.

Gifts available through the eShop and the hotel’s ifc mall pop-up include homemade panettone at HKD 750 and a chocolate rocking horse with crunchy pearls and candied fruit at HKD 860. The HKD 13,800 Ultimate Hamper includes Kaluga caviar, 52-month Iberico Bellota ham and Dom Pérignon Brut Champagne.

Quoted prices are subject to a 10% service charge unless otherwise stated; room rates also carry 3% government tax. Room reservations can be made at res.hongkong@fourseasons.com, dining bookings at dining.hkg@fourseasons.com, and spa appointments at spa.hkg@fourseasons.com.
