Oasis will return to Manchester for 11 Etihad Stadium concerts in June 2027, with more than half a million tickets on offer throughout the record-breaking run.

The shows are scheduled from 4 to 26 June, giving travelling fans a reason to make a longer city break of the occasion. Leonardo Limited Edition is positioning two central Manchester properties, The Midland Hotel and The Rex, as distinctive bases for concert stays.

The Midland offers Edwardian grandeur, established restaurants and spa facilities within a landmark hotel that opened in 1903. The Rex, formerly Hotel Gotham, provides a more intimate alternative inside Sir Edwin Lutyens’ former Midland Bank building on King Street.

Advertised bed-and-breakfast rates start at £145 per night at The Midland and £179 at The Rex. These are starting rates rather than dedicated concert packages, so prices and availability for the June dates may differ.

Oasis Live ’27 Manchester dates

Oasis Live ’27 will arrive at the Etihad Stadium on 4, 6, 8, 11, 12, 15, 18, 19, 22, 25 and 26 June 2027. The 11 performances take place across 23 calendar days rather than on consecutive nights.

Manchester City has described the residency as the largest summer concert series in the stadium’s history. It will be the band’s third appearance at the home of Manchester City and its first performance there in more than 20 years.

The concerts also extend a relationship between Oasis and the club that includes the band’s celebrated 1996 performances at Maine Road, Manchester City’s former ground. The Etihad run forms part of a wider tour covering the UK, mainland Europe, the USA and Ireland.

Announcing the tour on its official website, Oasis said: “Come witness the fitness. It shall be a sight to behold.”

Registration for tickets had closed by 24 September 2026. Ticketmaster’s tour information says the initial sales will be staggered from Friday 25 to Sunday 27 September, with access restricted to registered fans who receive a unique code. There will be no general sale, although a limited number of tickets may be released later.

The Midland Hotel for heritage and spa time

Located in Manchester city centre, The Midland Hotel is a Grade II listed grand hotel with 312 bedrooms and more than a century of history. It opened in 1903 to accommodate railway passengers arriving from London and remains one of the city’s most recognisable buildings.

The hotel’s ornate public rooms and sweeping stone façade give a stay a sense of occasion suited to a major concert weekend. Its central position makes it practical for exploring Manchester before the show.

Leonardo Limited Edition places The Midland around 20 minutes from the Etihad Stadium. Journey times will depend on traffic and the transport arrangements in place during the concerts, when more than half a million ticket holders are expected across the full run.

Inside, the hotel combines its historic architecture with contemporary bedrooms and a substantial wellness offer. Its spa and dining facilities allow guests to build a slower day around the concert, whether that means booking a treatment or lingering over afternoon tea.

Adam Reid at The French offers the hotel’s more formal dining experience, while The Tea Room provides an elegant setting for tea beneath high ceilings and period detailing. Having both within the property is useful on busy event days, when central restaurants are likely to be in demand.

The Midland is the stronger choice for travellers who prefer a large, established hotel with spa time and several places to eat. Its advertised rates start at £145 per night on a bed-and-breakfast basis, subject to availability.

The Rex for bold design and rooftop drinks

Set inside the former Midland Bank at 100 King Street, The Rex is a 60-room luxury hotel occupying one of central Manchester’s most characterful commercial buildings. The Grade II* listed structure was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens in 1928.

The hotel adopted its current name and identity on 23 April 2026, replacing Hotel Gotham while retaining the dramatic architecture that made the property distinctive. Compared with The Midland’s Edwardian scale, The Rex feels smaller and more theatrical, with its banking heritage woven into the interiors.

Its King Street location places guests amid the city centre’s shops, restaurants and historic architecture. Its 60 rooms give it the feel of a boutique stay, suited to couples turning the concert into a special-occasion weekend.

Dining is spread across the upper levels. Reign, the hotel’s sixth-floor restaurant, offers afternoon tea and a five-course tasting menu, both introduced for autumn 2026. Its menus and setting are covered in our guide to dining at The Rex Manchester.

Above it, Reserve is the hotel’s rooftop destination, with three terraces overlooking Manchester. It gives guests somewhere within the property for drinks before heading towards the stadium or after spending the day in the city.

The Rex is best suited to travellers who value boutique scale, expressive interiors and elevated dining. Bed-and-breakfast rates are advertised from £179 per night, although concert-night pricing may be higher.

Choosing between The Midland and The Rex

The Midland has 312 rooms, an established spa and the grandeur of a hotel operating since 1903. The Rex has 60 rooms, a bolder design identity and rooftop terraces inside a former bank.

For a restorative weekend with treatments and afternoon tea, The Midland has the broader range of facilities. For a more intimate stay centred on design and rooftop drinks, The Rex offers the sharper boutique experience.

Both properties are in central Manchester rather than beside the Etihad Stadium. That location works best for visitors who want to spend time in the city around the performance, with hotel restaurants and central attractions forming part of the trip.

With 11 shows scheduled across June, demand is likely to vary by date but remain high around each performance. Travellers who secure concert tickets should confirm hotel rates, cancellation terms and stadium travel plans before booking. Neither hotel announcement includes Oasis-themed extras or concert admission, so tickets and accommodation must be arranged separately.
