Rhum Room is pure rum tasting fantasy.
Zemi Beach House
Pair any rum with a full-bodied cigar, discover the history of the various brands, or try one of the signature rum cocktails served by Zemi Beach House’s very own rum expert.
A decadent tasting experience
Zemi Beach House in Anguilla has its own Rhum Room and it’s nothing short of a rum lover’s fantasy. The bar itself has a glamorous nautical feel, with blue leather sofas, dark wood panelling, and glowing bottles of renowned rums in circular displays behind the bar, resembling portholes on a ship.
Featuring 140 types of small-batch, single-estate rums, and a selection of unique and highly instagrammable signature cocktails – the standout for us was the Exotic Old Fashioned made with Mount Gay Rum XO, exotic sugar syrup, tobacco and cocoa angostura bitters and served in a glass pipe – Rhum Room makes Zemi Beach House one of the ultimate rum tasting hotels.

Wooden barrels, rope woven into the light fittings, and exposed brick walls and stone flooring; Rum Cave is a brilliant setting for a rum tasting.
Zoetry Marigot Bay
Rustic chic rum cave hidden away in one of the most beautiful bays in the Caribbean.
Rum Cave
Next on our list of rum tasting hotels is Rum Cave at Zoetry Marigot Bay in St Lucia. An intimate room tucked away next to the resort’s The Cove Restaurant, opposite the waterfront so you can watch the yachts while you taste your rums.
We gathered inside Rum Cave with some friends we’d met at the hotel and enjoyed some of St Lucia’s finest rums, as well as a selection of some of the best rums from across the Caribbean, while listening to descriptions and tasting notes for each. The cosy, rustic chic setting, with its wooden barrels – some tables, others decorating the backwall – rope woven into the light fittings overhead, and the dark wooden décor and furniture made us feel like we were sipping rum below deck on an historic ship. Definitely a vacation highlight.
