Sri panwa Phuket will host six-course Christmas dinners and a silver-themed New Year’s Eve party across its Cape Panwa venues in December 2026.
Sri panwa’s festive calendar runs from 1 December to New Year’s Day. The main Christmas event is dinner at Baba Poolclub on 24 and 25 December; on New Year’s Eve, guests can begin with sunset drinks at Baba Nest or TU Bar before a gala dinner beside the pool. The resort is also planning hotpot, Southern Thai dining and barbecue on selected dates around the holidays.
The Andaman Sea is the backdrop throughout, whether you’re staying at Sri panwa for a longer Phuket break or booking one evening out. Festive events are open to guests who are not staying at the resort, though advance reservations are required and places are subject to availability.
Christmas dinner at Baba Poolclub
Baba Poolclub will serve its six-course Christmas Celebration Dinner on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, starting at 6.30pm. The resort describes a seasonal menu in an oceanfront setting, with views over the Andaman Sea. If your ideal Christmas involves dressing up for dinner rather than spending the afternoon in the kitchen, either date gives you that option.
Dinner costs THB 4,288++ per person, approximately £96 at the rate given by the resort. Sri panwa also offers one complimentary glass of Aperol Spritz for bookings made by 15 November 2026.
The six-course format is the detail to plan around rather than a particular Christmas dish: Sri panwa has described the menu as seasonal but has not listed the individual courses in its announcement. Anyone with a dish in mind, or a dietary request to discuss, should ask for the menu when reserving.
New Year’s Eve at Baba Poolclub
On 31 December, Sri panwa’s celebration, Crowning the New Year – An Island Silver Night, begins with drinks at Baba Nest or TU Bar before moving to Baba Poolclub. The gala dinner is set around the club’s infinity-edge pool, with panoramic views across the Andaman Sea.
The resort has planned live culinary theatre, a band, performances, a DJ and a lucky draw. Dinner guests can continue to the countdown and late-night after-party, while a separate package lets couples join at 10pm without booking the gala. It is an evening built around entertainment as well as dinner, so the best ticket depends on where you want to watch the sunset and when you want to arrive.
Four ways to see in 2027
The Silver Horizon Reserve begins at 5pm with a sunset drink at Baba Nest, Sri panwa’s rooftop bar, before the gala dinner at Baba Poolclub. Prices start at THB 19,888++ per adult, approximately £449. This is the highest-priced dinner option and the one that starts at Baba Nest; the corresponding package on the resort’s online festive page also lists priority seating.
The Golden Hour Prelude also starts at 5pm, but its opening drinks are at TU Bar. Guests then head to Baba Poolclub for the gala dinner and live entertainment. It costs from THB 16,888++ per adult, approximately £381. If your choice is between the two sunset packages, the first decision is which bar you’d most like to visit before dinner.
The Silver Feast starts at 7pm at Baba Poolclub, with the gala dinner, live culinary theatre and performances. It costs THB 14,888++per adult, approximately £336, or THB 7,888++ per child. This is the dinner-led choice for anyone happy to begin the night at the poolclub rather than at one of the sunset bars.
The Midnight Encore starts at 10pm. Guests attending the gala can carry on to the countdown and after-party, but couples can also book this part of the night on its own for THB 11,888++, approximately £268. The standalone package includes Champagne and a charcuterie board to share. Its price is per couple, unlike the adult prices listed for the three dinner options.
Free-flow soft drinks are included with every New Year’s Eve dinner package. The baht prices carry the resort’s ++ notation, and the pound figures are approximate, so it is worth checking the final payable total when you book.
You may see different names for these options on Sri panwa’s festive page. In the same order, it calls them The Signature Experience, Golden Hour to Gala, The Main Celebration and The After-Party for Two. The listed start times and prices correspond to the packages above.
There is also a deadline to check before relying on the early-booking offer. Sri panwa’s announcement says guests who book a New Year’s Eve dinner package by 30 November 2026 receive one complimentary bottle of Louis Roederer Champagne per couple. It also gives a special price of THB 6,888++ for children aged six to 12. The resort’s online festive page instead lists 15 November and marks the early bird offer as ended. Confirm the current terms directly with Sri panwa before booking. The offer does not apply to The Midnight Encore.
Hotpot, Southern Thai food and sunset barbecue
Baba Chino’s Endless Hot Pot Delight runs from 1 to 22 December, giving visitors a festive dining option well before Christmas week. Baba Soul Food then hosts Taste of the South on 23, 28 and 31 December, with the focus on Southern Thai food. TU Bar’s Sizzle and Sunset BBQ falls on 26 December and 1 January 2027. Those dates bookend the busiest stretch of the programme, making the barbecue an option for visitors who arrive after Christmas dinner or stay on beyond the countdown. Sri panwa has not listed prices or serving times for these smaller dining events in its announcement, so ask for those details when booking.
Staying at Sri panwa
Sri panwa occupies 40 acres on Cape Panwa, overlooking the Andaman Sea. The resort puts Phuket Old Town about a 15-minute drive away and Phuket International Airport about 40 minutes away. For visitors making a holiday of it, the estate has 100 private villas, each with its own infinity-edge pool and sun terrace. Its Yaya Complex adds 24 pool suites, and the resort also has a spa and three swimming pools.
A room booking is not required to join the festive programme. Sri panwa says its Christmas and New Year celebrations are open to resident and non-resident guests, subject to availability and advance reservation.
