Tropical gardens surround Sandals St Vincent’s new Rondoval villas along the edge of the Buccament Bay valley. Private pools and outdoor soaking tubs give each its own space to unwind, while three villas add rooftop decks and telescopes for evenings watching the sky.

Sandals said its collection of 20 Rondoval Butler Villas with Private Pools has now opened, following the announcement of the accommodation in January. Each comes with personalised butler service and 24-hour room service. The three rooftop-equipped options are called Rondoval Butler Sky Villas with Private Pools, and have a separate booking process for UK guests.

The adults-only, all-inclusive resort is designed for couples, with a private cove, forest and a river bordering the property in St Vincent & the Grenadines. The new garden-set villas join its established two-storey Overwater Villas and Beachfront Butler Villas, widening the accommodation choices for a honeymoon or a slower Caribbean escape.

Circular villas among the gardens

Rondovals are Sandals’ standalone, circular or oval-shaped villas, combining indoor living with outdoor lounging space. At St Vincent, the Rondoval Butler Villa with Private Pool is listed at 1,170 square feet, with a sitting area and patio, plus pool and tropical-garden views.

King-size beds are paired with bathrooms containing double vanity units, a walk-in shower and a large bathtub. Outside, each villa has both its private pool and a soaking tub, giving guests separate places for a swim or a long soak without leaving their accommodation.

Daily housekeeping and nightly turndown are included. Air conditioning, a ceiling fan, WiFi and a coffee and tea maker complete the practical comforts, while the patio provides outdoor space alongside the indoor sitting area.

Three rooftop villas for stargazing

The Rondoval Butler Sky Villa with Private Pool is the larger category, listed at 1,900 square feet. It includes a sitting area and patio as well as the private rooftop deck, with the same pool and tropical-garden views listed for the standard Rondoval villas.

Private rooftop access gives these three villas an additional place to sunbathe during the day and stargaze after dark. Each has its own telescope, allowing guests to spend part of the evening looking at the night sky before returning to their private pool for a moonlit swim.

Sandals describes the rooftop stargazing experience as “star bathing”. The arrangement is simple: a deck reserved for the villa’s occupants, a telescope and somewhere to take a nightcap. The complimentary in-room bar is stocked with wine, beer, soft drinks and premium spirits.

The rooftop deck is specific to the three Sky Villas. Guests choosing between the two categories should weigh that extra outdoor space and telescope against the private pool, soaking tub and butler service included throughout the new collection.

Butler service, from arrival to dinner

Sandals’ Butler Elite service begins with private check-in in the suite, luggage coordination and a resort orientation. Guests are offered help with unpacking and given a mobile phone to contact their butler during the stay.

Butlers can make restaurant reservations, arrange tour bookings and spa appointments, and coordinate housekeeping. They can also bring drinks and lunch to guests at the beach or pool, reducing the need to leave a lounger when lunch comes around.

In-room dining can be ordered from any resort restaurant menu by Butler Elite guests, with butlers able to expedite the service. Combined with the villas’ 24-hour room service, this gives couples flexibility to spend an evening in their accommodation as well as dine around the resort.

Departure assistance includes help with packing and arranging airport transportation. Sandals permits gratuities for butlers and spa therapists, so guests who intend to tip should allow for that alongside their holiday budget.

Island flavours and beachside dining

Sandals St Vincent has 12 dining concepts and nine bars, including a swim-up bar. The resort’s all-inclusive offering covers breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks, alongside premium spirits, wine and an in-room bar.

The restaurant line-up includes local, family-style dining at Buccan and seafood at Scrimshaw, which Sandals describes as sustainably and locally fished. Parisol combines beachside dining with entertainment, while Three Jewels Rum Bar serves rum-led cocktails and bar snacks.

Blum brings island-inspired coffee and pastries into the day, and Imoro offers custom bowls and salads. Sushi handrolls, Italian-American food, pizza, steak and jerk cuisine add further choices across the resort, giving longer stays plenty of variety beyond meals delivered to the villa.

A Culinary Concierge Desk assists with dietary requirements, including food allergies, and is a useful contact when planning restaurant choices. Private candlelight dinners are also available as an optional dining experience for couples wanting a dedicated occasion during their stay.

Days on the water and around St Vincent

Included watersports range from snorkelling, with equipment provided, to paddleboards, kayaks and Hobie Cats. Scuba diving is included for certified divers, while tennis, other land sports, a fitness centre and entertainment provide options away from the water.

Island Routes excursions offered through the resort include a catamaran trip to the Tobago Cays and island-hopping outings to Bequia and Mustique. These are bookable excursions, separate from the resort’s included activities, and offer a way to explore more of St Vincent & the Grenadines during a villa-based stay.

St Vincent itself has several places to build into a day out. The resort identifies the Botanical Gardens, Montreal Gardens, La Soufriere volcano and Fort Charlotte among nearby attractions, while its excursion programme includes a Kingstown walking and shopping tour. Guests can ask their butler to assist with tour bookings rather than arrange every outing before arrival.

Getting there and booking a Sky Villa

Guests typically arrive through Argyle International Airport (SVD). Sandals gives the road-transfer time as approximately 45 minutes, with return airport transfers included for every accommodation category. The resort also offers complimentary boat transfers for butler guests.

The three Rondoval Butler Sky Villas with Private Pools are bookable only on request by calling 0808 164 3459. The number connects UK guests with Unique Caribbean Holidays Ltd (UCHL), Sandals Resorts’ in-house UK tour operator, whose sales team handles requests for this rooftop category.
