Unwind

Keemala’s 38 pool villas are available as one-bedroom, two-bedroom, single-storey, as well as duplex styles. We’ve highlighted a few of our favourite options below.

The 16 ‘Clay Pool Cottages’ reflect the earthiness of the ‘Pa-ta-Pea’ clan who believed in a strong connection to the earth and were leaders in agriculture at the time. The villas include a spacious bathroom with monsoon shower, outside shower and a stand-alone bathtub. The villa size is from 126m² including pool and outdoor terrace. There are also two 2-bedroom Clay Pool Cottages with one large shared bathroom available for those travelling with family or friends.

The seven ‘Tree Pool Houses’ are built to represent the ‘We-ha’ people who worshipped the universe and chose to live suspended from the trees to be nearer to the sky. This quirky villa design offers two floors of sleeping and living space. The villa size is 169m² including outdoor terrace and pool.

The ‘Rung-Nok’ community inspired the design of the eight ‘Bird’s Nest Pool Villas’. This group enjoyed an opulent way of life compared to other clans. Their craving for exclusivity resulted in the woven tangle of a birds nest design. This sumptuous villa design offers the largest villa in Keemala with a total space of 185m² including outdoor terrace and pool.

Explore

Phuket Island offers a plethora of enriching activity and experiences and Keemala is proud to have completely unique experiences designed by their team who originate from Phuket, including tours to explore stunning islands with magnificent snorkelling and Keemala’s own heritage tour of Phuket.

And although Keemala is tucked away in the greenery, it’s close enough to easily take a trip to the beach. Keemala is just a few minutes car ride down to Kamala Beach and the resort offers complimentary transport to and from the beach throughout the day.

A few of the best beaches include Kamala Beach which is 1.5kms away, and just 4 minutes away by complimentary transport. It is beautifully quiet in low season and offers mighty waves, ideal for surfing. The contrasting conditions in high season offer tranquil, clear water, perfect for those who love to swim, snorkel or stand-up paddleboard.

You would have most likely have heard of Patong. The popular hotspot is notorious for its vibrant nightlife and bustling souvenir shops. The beach is also quite lively, and a nice spot to chill and catch some sunshine after a few hours of shopping before returning to the sanctuary of Keemala and for those who enjoy smaller and lesser-frequented beaches, Laem Singh is a nearby beach that offers something more picturesque than the busy Patong Beach. It’s just 10 minutes away by car and now only accessible by boat, or stand-up paddle board!
