Private wooden chalets, a glass dome surrounded by evergreens and hot chocolate beside terrace fire pits will bring an alpine-inspired gathering place to East Palo Alto this festive season. Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley has announced the return of Après Village, alongside holiday dining, afternoon tea, gingerbread decorating and seasonal spa treatments.
Quattro’s terrace will be strung with twinkling lights, while a grand tree, holiday flowers and decorations will fill the lobby. The programme offers several ways to spend time here, from a December afternoon over tea and miniature pastries to Christmas dinner followed by a night in one of the hotel’s recently redesigned suites.

Après Village: chalets and fireside hot chocolate
Après Village runs from 21 November 2026 to 4 January 2027, opening daily from 4.30pm to 9.30pm. The village area, expanded for the occasion, and the outdoor terrace at Quattro will hold private wooden chalets and the central glass dome, with blankets, fire pits and private outdoor holiday-film screenings adding to the evening.
The food follows the alpine theme, with Gruyère and Emmental fondue served with sourdough and steamed new potatoes. Seafood pie brings fish, shrimp, clams and root vegetables beneath golden puff pastry, with saffron béchamel, while truffle chicken pasta comes with forest mushrooms. Vegetarian choices include artichoke-and-leek pizza and Hubbard squash with burrata, citrus, seeds and spiced maple syrup.
Adult dining costs US$95 per person, covering seasonal soup, four shared savoury dishes per table, a dessert each and the village hot-chocolate experience. The children’s menu is US$45 for under-12s. Chalet or dome rental carries a separate US$150 fee; standard spaces accommodate up to six guests, while themed chalets take up to eight. An automatic 20% gratuity applies to Après Village events.
The returning food truck serves hot chocolate prepared by hand, along with kits for roasting marshmallows beside the fire pits. For something stronger, mulled wine is US$24, while the US$29 Snowfall Martini combines chamomile-infused vodka, passion fruit, vanilla foam and Champagne syrup. Reserve a table or chalet ahead of time, and bear in mind that the experience takes place outdoors, so dining activities may be cancelled when it rains.
Thanksgiving: a long brunch or a feast at home
Quattro’s Rustic Harvest Thanksgiving Brunch takes place on Thursday 26 November, priced at US$220 per adult and US$85 per child. Seasonal salads and a Farmer’s Market display sit alongside freshly shucked oysters, poached shrimp, octopus in salsa verde, local cheeses and cured meats.
A live carving station serves slow-cooked whole turkey with stuffing, mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts, forest mushrooms and turkey jus. Other dishes include butter-poached lobster risotto with saffron bisque, seared scallops with dill mustard sauce, and ricotta ravioli with roasted hazelnuts and Alfredo sauce. Pumpkin pie, cranberry upside-down cake, maple pecan choux and dirty chai macarons are among the dessert choices. Brunch reservations are through OpenTable.
Quattro’s Thanksgiving To-Go offers a whole roasted turkey with California water chestnut stuffing, cranberry sauce and gravy. Sides include potato, leek and black truffle soup, mashed potatoes with lemon confit, brown-butter carrots and green beans with almonds, roasted tomatoes and sunflower seeds, plus Parker House rolls and Courtney’s pumpkin pie. It costs US$482 for four to five guests or US$589 for six to eight. Order by 20 November and collect from Quattro on Thanksgiving Day between 10am and 2pm.
December afternoon tea
Holiday afternoon tea at the [esc] Lobby Lounge is served from 1pm to 5pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays throughout December, at US$90 per person. The sandwich selection gives familiar combinations a seasonal touch: truffle and egg mayonnaise, cucumber with citrus cream cheese, and smoked salmon with chive crème.
The pastry selection includes a Gianduja Bûche de Noël, a reindeer macaron filled with dark chocolate peppermint ganache, spiced cranberry-orange posset and the signature Holiday Purse. A freshly baked cranberry-orange scone and premium loose-leaf teas complete the service. The lobby lounge has intimate seating and cosy corners, making tea a quieter option for a festive gathering than an evening in the outdoor village.
Gingerbread decorating with the pastry team
Pastry Sous Chef Courtney Persichitte leads the gingerbread-decorating class on 2 December at 2pm. Each pre-assembled house is for two participants to decorate, with the pastry team providing guidance, decorating supplies and seasonal snacks. The class is open to all ages and priced at US$210 per person; places are limited and tickets can be reserved online.
US$10 from every event ticket will go to RISE, Reaching and Inspiring Success Through Education. The organisation supports children and families in East Palo Alto through educational opportunities, academic assistance, mentorship and family resources.
Christmas Eve and Christmas Day at Quattro
Christmas Eve dinner on 24 December costs US$140 per person and begins with roasted chestnut and brown-butter soup. The next course offers handmade ricotta ravioli with Manila clams and clam butter sauce, or squash risotto with crispy sage and pepita crumble.
Main-course choices include mulled-wine-braised beef short ribs with glazed winter vegetables, Norwegian halibut with almonds, chanterelles and citrus beurre blanc, and a vegan dish of braised heirloom carrot with wild-mushroom-stuffed Savoy cabbage and vegan Bordelaise. Dessert is Hukambi 53% chocolate mousse layered with blood orange confit, blackcurrant crémeux, gingerbread sponge and crisp feuilletine.
Christmas Day dining runs from 11am to 5pm on 25 December. Quattro’s feast includes an appetiser buffet, freshly shucked oysters, artisanal cheese and charcuterie, salads, scallops, seared duck breast, flame-grilled branzino and a prime-rib carving station. Christmas dining reservations can be made online.
A seasonal spa appointment
The Golden Shimmer Body Scrub combines a sugar scrub with an application of golden oil. The body treatment is listed at 60–90 minutes and US$335–470, with pricing varying by day of the week and subject to change. The festive programme also includes a 90-minute Winter Wonderland Spa Ritual.
The spa has a relaxation lounge and an outdoor heated pool, offering another way to spend part of an overnight break. Guests can ask about preferred spa pricing from Monday to Thursday.
Stay in a redesigned suite
The hotel’s one-bedroom suites were redesigned with Wimberly Interiors, drawing on Northern California landscapes and Santa Clara Valley’s orchard-growing heritage. Natural wood, stone and marble sit within a palette of soft neutrals, earthy tones and coastal colours. The suites have separate areas for work, rest and relaxation, enhanced dressing spaces and layered lighting.
The Superior One-Bedroom Suite measures 725 square feet, or 67 square metres, with a king bedroom, sitting area and workspace. There is room for either three adults or two adults and two children. Its five-piece marble bathroom has dual sinks, a bathtub and a shower; selected suites also have a pull-out sofa bed.
