In my opinion, Paris is always a good idea. Any time of year, with anyone. A trip to Paris is guaranteed to be indulgent, picturesque and full of delicious French food. Whether you’re staying in one of the central arrondissements near the glittering Eiffel Tower, or in one of the city’s more up-and-coming areas, it’s also a good idea to choose a hotel that offers a place to retreat after a day of sightseeing and shopping.
Thankfully, there’s an exclusive set of hotels that offer not just magnificent rooms and destination restaurants, but peaceful spas, hammams and pools. And they range from towering grand buildings to hidden boutique finds. We share our pick of the most enchanting Paris hotels with spas for you to make the most of your playtime and downtime.
Some argue that nowhere does art, fashion and food like Paris. And I agree. Each of the city’s arrondissements has its own unique style – stroll through the pretty streets of Montmartre to the Sacré Coeur Basilica, uncover the chic boutiques of Le Marais, or lose yourself in the charm of the Latin Quarter with its beautiful university buildings (and the best brunch spots).
Foodies will be pleased to know that Paris has nearly 200 Michelin-starred restaurants (two of which reside in one of the hotels below), but there are also plenty of independent patisseries and delicious food markets to sample all the delicacies you like.
And, for a serene escape, we’d recommend choosing a hotel with a tranquil spa. The Hôtel Plaza Athénée is home to the newly launched Dior Spa, while there’s a hidden floatation pool and sauna of Le Petit Beaumarchais, just a stone’s throw from stylish Bastille.

A luxurious hotel with jaw-dropping interiors designed by Jean-Louis Deniot.
Nolinski Paris
Journey up through the clouds depicted on the grand staircase and painted mirrors in the elevator, from the bustle of the ground floor to the calm, quiet heights of Nolinski Paris’ 45 rooms and suites spread across six floors.
Luxurious spa
Near to the Comédie Française theatre and the Louvre, and next up on our list of enchanting Paris hotels with spas, is Nolinski Paris, a luxurious hotel with jaw-dropping interiors designed by Jean-Louis Deniot. The reception is decked in dark marble, the cocktail bar has a shimmering leafy ceiling, and some rooms are as big as Parisian apartments.
Dramatic granite flooring, warm woods and flickering candles combine to create the cosiest, most luxurious spa. On the ceiling, a vast mirror reflects the seemingly endless swimming pool and you can choose between sumptuous treatments or a session with a personal trainer.
Under the magnificent stone arches is a Flotarium pool enriched with healing salt, an infra-red sauna and a peaceful treatment room.
Le Petit Beaumarchais
Head down the stairs, under the magnificent stone arches to discover Le Petit Beaumarchais’ Flotarium, Sauna, and treatment room. A magical space for a well-deserved break.
Relaxation and wellbeing
Next door to the Bastille Metro station and just a short walk from Le Marais neighbourhood, this hotel is perfectly placed for a fun-filled weekend. All the rooms have classic balconies overlooking the leafy streets below and the cocktail bar is one of the best in Paris (in my opinion), serving everything from classic Negronis to more experimental sips.
On the lower-ground floor is the hidden relaxation and wellbeing space. Under the magnificent stone arches is a Flotarium pool enriched with healing salt, an infra-red sauna and a peaceful treatment room.
Retreat to the breathtaking Dior Spa. A vision of white and cream marbles, book the Light Suite, where a therapist will design you a bespoke set of face and body treatments.
Hôtel Plaza Athénée
Fresh, iconic, inspiring, and utterly magnificent. At Hôtel Plaza Athénée a unique and delightful experience awaits.
Breathtaking Dior Spa
Located on the prestigious avenue Montaigne – a tree-lined boulevard home to some of the biggest names in French fashion – this hotel is part of the Dorchester Collection. The Haute Couture Eiffel Suite offers uninterrupted views of the city’s most famous landmark and is decorated with luxurious silks and elaborate mouldings.
After a day of shopping, head to the Michelin-star restaurant with visionary chef, Jean Imbert at the helm. Or, retreat to the breathtaking Dior Spa. A vision of white and cream marbles, book the Light Suite, where a therapist will design you a bespoke set of face and body treatments. If you’re looking for beautiful and enchanting Paris hotels with spas you should definitely take a look at Hôtel Plaza Athénée.
One of the most mysterious, lavish and elegant hotels in the city.
Maison Souquet
Luxurious Paris hotel Maison Souquet is home to 20 rooms, including six suites with unique interiors.
Relax and indulge
Steps from Montmartre is this secret hotel, hidden behind an understated facade with just two red lanterns. Once a pleasure house during the Belle Époque period, it’s now one of the most mysterious, lavish and elegant hotels in the city. With just 20 rooms, the hotel has an exclusive feel and I’d recommend booking one of the six unique suites.
And the spa is just as mysterious, tucked away in a peaceful corner of the Maison. It’s decorated with a golden starry ceiling and inky walls. You can dip in the 10m swimming pool, or relax in the indulgent hammam and treatment rooms. It’s available for private use only, so you can have it all to yourself.
The spa is a light-filled haven, with an interior garden, a wood-panelled pool and a private couple spa suite.
Le Bristol Paris
Le Bristol Paris is an icon of French elegance and art de vivre boasting 190 completely renovated rooms and suites in the heart of Paris.
Serenity in the heart of Paris
Le Bristol stands on one of the most exclusive roads in Paris, rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré. Just steps away from the Champs Elysées, it’s one of the most classic luxurious hotels in the city. The spa is a light-filled haven, with an interior garden, a wood-panelled pool and a private couple spa suite. Recently, Le Bristol Spa has welcomed La Prairie’s HydraFacials – renowned as one of the best facial treatments in the world.
Beyond the incredible rooms, visitors come for the exquisite food. The hotel has two Michelin-starred restaurants, and a partnership between the hotel’s Chef Eric Frechon and Dom Pérignon’s Cellar Master, Vincent Chaperon.
The spa includes a collection of mineral pools and hammams – so you can plunge into an ice bath before warming up one of the decadent saunas.
La Fantaisie
Totalling 63 rooms and 10 suites with balconies and terraces opening out onto breathtaking views of the city or the garden, La Fantaisie is a green oasis in the center of the hip Faubourg Montmartre neighbourhood.
Time to regenerate
Beautifully bright and colourful, La Fantaisie embodies joy and creative imagination – think retro floral wallpaper and sunny private terraces. It’s one of the only luxury hotels in town with a rooftop bar and full garden, all in the heart of the Faubourg Montmartre neighbourhood.
Inspired by underground springs, the spa includes a collection of mineral pools and hammams – so you can plunge into an ice bath before warming up one of the decadent saunas. The treatments are unique and include everything from their signature awakening massage (only available in the mornings) to cutting-edge facials and reflexology.
